School Enrichment Services (SES)
SES provides culturally relevant support to charter/alternative schools seeking to establish a greater partnership with home and community. Working with school personnel, students, families and community advocates intentionally creating and developing a school culture that garners inclusive and affirmative results
Base Components
A culturally proficient team of seasoned educators, case managers, and trained community members are deployed and stationed at partnering school sites adding vital support that addresses many social barriers to the educational process.
Employing a new and effective coaching model that utilizes culture; as a key tool in the transformative process encompassing students, their families, teachers, and community advocates.
Weekly Home Connection, In-Home Visits, Phone Calls, Emails, Monthly Family Gatherings, Community Resource Connection
Site Based Culture Development Training – consisting of a customized series of school-wide focus groups and interviews that establishes shared values, vision, purpose, and expectation for students, teachers, and families within the school community
