About Us

To build the capacity of people to become more self-aware and self-directed resulting in sustainable, positive transformation.

Our History

Village-Connect, Inc. was first conceptualized in 2007 by Gaylon Logan, Jr., an educator, business owner and award-winning non-profit executive. Having worked tirelessly for over 20 years to bring positive solutions to children and youth, he concluded that real change happens on the inside…of the person, family or home. 20121120_124413 A year later, Mr. Logan assembled a group of professionals and community members who all shared a commitment to social justice and the strengthening of families. Targeting vulnerable communities they convened to map out what would become Village-Connect. Village-Connect Inc.’s catch phrase “it takes a village to raise a child…and a family” drives home the vital need to improve and strengthen individuals within a household and raise awareness of a self-directed “Unit.”
